Alright, this is for all you Zutarians out there!!
I know this isn't a real original idea, but I wanted to try my hand at mythical critters and this is what happened! I started looking up pictures and info about Chinese dragons... and then there was stuff about the Phoenix... and then there was this!...
"In China, early artifacts show the Phoenix (female) as intimately associated with the Dragon (male) -- the two are portrayed either as mortal enemies or as blissful lovers. When shown together, the two symbolize both conflict and wedded bliss."
(I got this info from: [link] )
So, that was the deciding factor for me... yep, it totally screamed Zutara! And ya know what's funny? I found out that the Chinese dragon is the controller of lakes, streams, and rain! While the Phoenix dies in fire and rises from the ashes and represents fire and the sun! So I guess I kinda flipped the elements... but I still like it!!!
(.... Oh, and I just want to live in my own Zutarian world so I don't want to have a big discussion about why Zutara won't happen... or what not... )
Anyway, I hope y'all like it! I had a ton of fun drawing this!... and yes, I was crazy enough to draw all those scales on that dragon XD
Zutara forever!!!
Oh the Zutara hintage!!... yes, I said hintage.... Mike and Brian sure do like the drop hints about it, and then smother the show with Maiko and Kataang... darn them!! j/k I love those guys!
Thank you sooo much!!

The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.
Thank you!
Just what I need to recover after the irritating presence of Maiko in season Three.
And my Kataanger friends, who will no doubt be rubbing the dancing portion of The Headband in my face tomorrow!
Again, thanks.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
